Optional analytics

The site may use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visits and how readers move through public pages. When analytics is configured for the production website, Google's Consent Mode runs with analytics storage denied by default.

Before you choose, and after you select Decline, Google Analytics does not read or write analytics cookies. It may still receive limited, cookieless measurements such as a page visit and the denied consent state for aggregate reporting and modelling. Selecting Accept allows analytics storage and fuller visit measurement.

What this site stores

The public reading experience does not collect form submissions, comments, newsletter sign-ups, or public account details. Published article content and category information are stored by the site owner and are not visitor records.

Third-party processing

Google may process the limited cookieless measurements described above even when analytics storage is denied. If you accept, Google may also process cookie-based device and usage information according to its own terms and privacy practices. Advertising storage, personalisation, and advertising user-data consent remain denied in both cases.

Changing your choice

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under analytics-consent so the site can remember it on later visits. Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to reopen the consent banner and change or withdraw your choice.
